Nextaff Named America’s Fastest-Growing Human Resources Company
Nextaff joins Inc. Magazine’s Top 500; credits growing demand for outsourced workforce strategy solutions for rapid growth and expansion
Nextaff, an Overland Park, Kansas-based workforce strategy and human resources company was recently included in Inc. Magazine’s Top 500 Fastest-Growing Companies, appearing at number 280 on this prestigious list.
Nextaff is a franchisor of workforce strategy services currently serving eight metropolitan areas, with aggressive growth plans for 2012 including an expansion of marketed services.
According to Nextaff CEO Cary Daniel, cautious business owners across the nation turned to outsourced human resources providers as they began to rehire workers in 2010 and 2011. “These companies now want much more than simply staffing companies to augment their human resources needs. They are seeking advisors to help them navigate workplace regulations, health care and risk concerns within their business,” said Daniel.
In addition to recruiting, staffing, screening, testing and employment assessments, Nextaff has expanded its workforce management services to include payroll and benefits administration, risk management, compliance and human resources consulting.
“Small and mid-market businesses throughout the nation are doing more-with-less these days,” said Daniel. “Many business owners realize the benefits of outsourcing non-core areas of their business.”
With 2011 revenues expected to exceed $80 million dollars, Nextaff is poised to expand to new markets around the nation. According to Daniel, many existing staffing companies see the need to expand their services to clients in the broader areas of workforce strategies and human resources services, but cannot fulfill those requests internally. “Our business model allows a local staffing office the ability to partner with Nextaff, so together we can service the entire suite of workforce strategies,” said Daniel.
“Can you provide me a better suite of services for less cost than if I did it myself? Will those services have a positive, measurable impact on the bottom line? That’s what business owners are asking as they engage outsource human resources providers,” said Daniel.

Kansas City, MO. April 27, 2010 – No one knows or remembers the exact date Italian immigrant Oswald Griner opened Griner and Schmitz, Inc., originally Oswald Griner Co., in 1910 on E. 10th Street in downtown Kansas City. But when a company survives the Great Depression, weathers the changes in construction and surveying technology, and helps supply the country with instruments throughout a few wars, a yearlong celebration is more appropriate anyway. This is exactly what Griner and Schmitz is doing in 2010- an era that will be considered economically lean in hindsight, if not a crisis, by future generations.
